Olney Theatre Center kicks off their 2008 season on a high note with John Patrick Shanley's Doubt: A Parable. Audience members may come away from the play having doubts about what actually occurred (or didn't occur), but there is no doubt that this thought-provoking drama is a rousing success!

Expanding their horizons from productions of literary adaptations, this play is a very entertaining and refreshing contemporary work about people who love to read books.
Shekhar Kapur's follow-up to his hugely successful 1998 film Elizabeth suffers in comparison to the first film, as most sequels do. However, it is still an enormously entertaining portrayal of one of the most fascinating women in history, with a stellar cast, wonderful cinematography, and dazzling costumes.
