About Me

Travel: I love to travel, and have traveled extensively around the globe. Past travel destinations include Antarctica, Tahiti, China, Australia, New Zealand, Scandinavia (Sweden, Finland, and Denmark), Russia (St. Petersburg and Tallinn), France, Italy, Belgium, Greece, Turkey, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Panama, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, the Bahamas, Alaska, and several other destinations within the U.S. See my Travel page for more details.

I realized my goal to travel to all 7 continents after my African Safari in 2010! There are still many other places I would love to visit - Galapagos, Egypt, Norway, Hawaii, Iceland, and Thailand, to name a few.

Much of my travel has been on Olivia cruises; Olivia is a company that offers vacations for women.

Photography and Videos: All of this combined with my love of photography has provided me the opportunity to take literally thousands of photos. Being an avid lover of nature and the outdoors, my photo collection also includes many flowers, butterflies, and other insects. Visit my Photo Gallery. Children's Books: Though I have no children of my own, my life has been enriched by my various nieces, nephews, and cousins. My love for children and passion for writing led me to write 4 children's book manuscripts, which are currently in search of the right publisher. Visit my Writing page on this site for more details. Family: I have a strong love of family, so it gave me great joy to work on my Family Tree. There are over 1100 people in this tree, including all of my extended family. My paternal grandmother was French, so I am very fortunate to have a large family in France. See my Genealogy page for more details. I have made many visits to various parts of France, and spent 2 months traveling around the French countryside in 2005.

Spirituality, Reiki, and Animals: I have been on a spiritual path for many years, following spiritual teachers such as Gary Zukav, Eckhart Tolle, and Wayne Dyer. In 2005 I discovered the teachings of Abraham, which have enriched my life in many wonderful ways.

I have always had a strong connection with animals, and currently have 2 cats. (See the My Pets page on this site.) It was the passing of my beloved cat Ginger in December 2005 that led me to Reiki. This gentle healing energy technique melded perfectly with the Abraham teachings, and so it became the next logical step on my path. I am now an Usui Reiki Master, and intend to pursue other Reiki modalities, including Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki (SSR), Karuna, and Lightarian. I have also studied animal communication. I receive great joy from helping people and animals to align with their natural well being.
